I remembered that Wolves approached this game very well, not giving the Gunners any space in the midfield. They were playing a pressing style even on the backs, and our fluency and passing game was adversely affected.
Somehow, we still managed to go 2-0 up at half-time, thanks to 2 own goals.
In the second half, we were also very nervous and still managed to further the lead through Arshavin. The fourth goal was a gem by Fabregas after some good passing from RVP.
Wolves though pulled back a late consolation goal and the knack of conceding soft late goals is starting to worry me. So long as we are in free scoring mode, this should not be an issue.
Still the score seemed generous to us as we did not play as well as the scoreline suggested. I am happy with the 3 points in the bag and leapfrog over Man U to 2nd place.
Now for the top of the table clash with Chelsea in a fortnight's time.
